Despite COVID shutdown, it is a busy time across our three hubs in Queensland and New South Wales. Applications closed in September 2019 for our world class research project grants. The grants, up to $600,000, fund trials and studies to evaluate efficacy, methods, interventions, practice change or policy for people with dementia. Today, we are delighted to announce the successful applicants and their projects!
There are a number of call outs in today’s edition. Specifically, proposals to develop Guidelines for the appropriate use of psychotropic medicines. If you are a person with dementia, a carer for someone with dementia and/or a healthcare worker who works closely with people with dementia, we would like to hear from you. Finally, a reminder that the DCRC Research Plan Stakeholder Consultation is due to close this Friday 26 June – this is the last chance to have your say !
