How to list your project in the DCRC database

The DCRC database can be used to invite volunteers to express interest in a range of opportunities - whether it be volunteering for a research study or nominating for an advisory group or other activity. A project that is in the database will also have flow on outreach opportunities, e.g. the DCRC newsletter.

Some important information:

  • The DCRC database does NOT store information about individuals.
  • The DCRCs do not maintain a list of potential participants looking for projects.
  • The DCRCs do not screen contacts -  Potential volunteers must make direct contact with the team (opt in).
  • A project must have appropriate ethics clearance to use the DCRC database.
  • Preference is given to DCRC affiliated projects and opportunities, but each request is assessed on its own merits.
  • The DCRC database is a free service.
